Bogtastic will be presented by Babbling Vagabonds of Bakewell in Pavilion Gardens, Buxton, from September 30 to October 3, 2021.

The theater company worked with Moors for the Future Partnership to create the show that examines the ecosystem balance within our beautiful heathland habitat,

The story takes place underground, under the moors, where cottongrass and blueberries live! The fairies descend from the great protectors of the ‘Stinky’ and ‘Quagmire’ bogs. They work tirelessly to maintain balance in their peat house. It’s hard work, but they love their world and will do whatever it takes to maintain harmony between the mounds and hollows of their bog. Then, one fateful day, a new threat emerges from “them at the top”, plunging our brave swamp fairies into a desperate battle. It’s an epic fight that they can’t win on their own. They need help. But from whom?

Performances of the 45-minute show will begin at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. each day.

Tickets are free, the weekend shows are already sold out. To see the show on September 30 or October 1, you must book in advance at www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/166928271955
