Jeffrey Steele & Friends fundraising concert at the Franklin Theater set for 15th year | Entertainment

The 15th Annual Jeffrey Steele & Friends Benefit Concert will be held March 7 at the Franklin Theater.

The event will support neglected and at-risk youth in Central Tennessee and beyond in memory of Steele’s son, Alex, who died in 2007.

“We have been blown away by your generosity over the past 15 years,” the LeVasseur family said in a statement. “We’ve raised over $1.5 million to help nonprofits in our area who advocate for our youth and children in our community and in other neighborhoods and communities across the country to share the love and Alex’s light with those who need it most.”

With the help of Jeffrey Steele & Friends events, the Alex LeVasseur Memorial Fund has been able to partner and provide support to many youth-focused organizations, including the YMCA of Middle Tennessee and its Y-CAP programs that help youth at risk, The Beat of Life and its music programming for young people, The Skate Park Project non-profit led by Tony Hawk to support the construction of skate parks across the country in the most vulnerable populations, and many others.

The evening will include music and a live auction. Tickets are on sale on the Franklin Theater website or at www.bit.ly/JSF2022.

The evening, hosted by Steele and Casey LeVasseur, will include performances by Lit, Ira Dean, Billy Dean, Darryl Worley, Silence X Noise, CJ Solar, Bridgette Tatum, Stephen Wilson Jr., Phil Vassar and Jeffrey Steele.
