Live Improvisation Returns to Daddy’s Garage – WSB-TV Channel 2

Dad’s Garage Theater is delighted to welcome customers for live laughs.

Starting July 16, patrons can watch Dad’s Garage improv shows every Friday and Saturday night at 8 p.m. in person at the theater. In order to prioritize the safety of customers, artists and staff, it will be a partial reopening with masks.

Tickets go on sale Friday, June 25 at 8 a.m., and since the theater will be operating at reduced capacity, customers are encouraged to purchase early to secure their seat.

This return to in-person programming will begin with fan-favorite improv shows. SCANDAL: Sealab (our improvised soap opera that goes on week after week) leaves the screen and returns on stage on Fridays at 8 p.m. Dad’s Garage’s longest-running improv show, TheatreSports, continues Saturdays at 8 p.m. At this time, there will be no shows at 10:30 p.m. nor performances on Thursdays.

During the pandemic, Dad’s Garage worked to modernize the facility to be fresh, clean and safe for everyone to enjoy. These upgrades include a touchless toilet, touchless hand sanitizer dispensers, antimicrobial electrostatic misting to clean all surfaces before and after shows, and a Cold Plasma air purification system for the entire building.

In addition to our reopening, Dad’s Garage will once again be offering in-person improvisation lessons for the general public starting in August. Unmasked and masked class options will be available.
