Otherworld Theater, North America’s premier fantasy and genre theater production company, today announced details of WINTER IN THE WILDWOOD, an immersive walking vacation experience that runs from December 9, 2021 to January 9, 2022 at the Otherworld Theater, 3914 N. Clark St. in Chicago.
In WINTER IN THE WILDWOOD, audiences will be transported to a Fae realm filled with Christmas trees, lights, and magic as they encounter magical wildlife and uncover the truth behind Wildwood’s fading, dark lights. embarking on a quest to restore magic to the forest. Along the way, the audience will enjoy fairy tales, magicians, puppets, and unique photo opportunities. Each performance is unique and adapted to the public, whether family or adult.
WINTER IN THE WILD lasts about 75 minutes. Tickets are available for purchase at www.otherworldtheatre.org, at $ 40 for adults and $ 20 for children, and each ticket includes a coupon for a themed drink at the Otherworld bar (alcoholic and non-alcoholic options available) . Show hours are Fridays at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Saturdays at 5 p.m., 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. and Sundays at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.
All participants, including members of the public, media, staff, volunteers, and performers, are required to present full proof of vaccination or a negative PCR test result within 72 hours of the date of the performance, and masks should be worn over the mouth and nose at all times, unless actively eating or drinking.
