Popular children’s show The Twirlywoos Live heads to the Forum Theater in Malvern

Popular children’s characters, the Twirlywoos, visit the Forum Theater in Malvern this week.

Their marvelous universe will come to life during shows on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 16 and 17.

Toodloo, Great BigHoo, Chickedy, Chick and Peekaboo set sail for an exciting theatrical production.

Featuring all the favorite characters from the hit TV series, expect mischief, music and plenty of surprises as the Twirlywoos embark on a new adventure aboard their Big Red Boat.

The funny and adorable Twirlywoos come to life on stage with beautifully inventive puppets, promising an hour of colorful fun and laughter in an enchanting introduction to theater for toddlers.

Twirlywoos live! is presented on stage by MEI Theatrical whose recent productions include Sarah and Duck Live on Stage (Polka Theater and UK Tour) and The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show (West End).

It’s written by Zoe Bourn, who brought to life some of the world’s most beloved children’s titles, including Thomas and Friends and Fireman Sam Live!.

Twirlywoos first aired on CBeebies in 2015, and in 2017 celebrated its 100th episode.

It is co-created by Anne Wood, who designed shows such as Teletubbies and Brum and Steve Roberts, who with Anne co-created the Bafta-winning series CBeebies Dipdap.

The cast includes actor-puppeteers Ceri Ashcroft, Katriona Brown, Ben Murrell, Jonathan Norman and Chris Wills.

Twirlywoos live! is recommended for children 1 year and older, infants in arms are welcome. The operating time is 55 minutes without interval.

Shows are at 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday May 16 and at 10:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday May 17.
