Frank Wildhorn and Don Black’s musical based on the lives of two of America’s most wanted criminals, who made a name for themselves by staging bank robberies across the country during the Great Depression. Their youth (both were in their twenties) and the legend immortalized in the cinema and now in this musical make it an event not to be missed. The show’s recent stage gigs at the Theater Royal Drury Lane sold out within an hour, so it’s great to see Frances Mayli McCann and Jordan Luke Gage switching to star in a season of the show at the Arts Theatre.
